One of the members of our ward, Jessica Banda, married a missionary who had returned home and had served in Zambia in the Matero Ward, Jerard Ngandebanka. It was quite the event, and we told that it was even on the smaller side of Zambian weddings. The Elders had someone make them look alike ties for the wedding and they had one for Alan too. That was cool.
This is Joseph Banda, no relation to the bride. He is a recent convert and was invited to participate in the wedding being a ward member and living in the same complex of the RS President who basically put the whole wedding together. He's from Livingstone and is such a great young man. The yellow tie really sets of his 'tan'! LaNice was invited to speak at the wedding and gave a talk on how to make a happy marriage. How original! Anyway, the little girl in the picture is Fides Banda, the daughter of bride. She is very faithful and I love having her come to Primary.
Introducing Brother and Sister Ngandabanka. The dancing afterwards was pretty interesting. Part of the wedding reception was different dances performed by different people. Those Africans can really dance and can move in ways with such such rhythm that it's amazing to watch!
